MAN (Men Act Now) Campaign

 

Men for Gender Equality Now (MEGEN) engages men and boys in the promotion of gender equality, prevention of Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and the spread of HIV & AIDS geared towards the realization of social justice. MAN (Men Act Now) Campaign is geared towards mobilizing one million men across Kenya committing to shun violence and become change agents within their communities in efforts to end all forms of violence.

MEGEN has been carrying out community dialogues in partnership with UNHCR and GIZ targeting the refugee community in Huruma, Eastleigh, Kayole, Kawangware and Kasarani. MEGEN shall also be holding its annual Men's Travelling Conference from 6th to 8th December 2011 as part of the 16 days of activism against gender violence

Men for Gender Equality Now is currently holding the 2nd round of Strategic Dialogue Sessions in Voi, Butere, Timau, Nanyuki, Wote,Maralal,Mombasa, Iten, Migori and Ogembo
