There is a need to promote the safety of the survivors while at the same time placing perpetrator at the centre of focus as person who uses the violence, who is the problem, who has the problem and who needs to become a focal point of intervention. Similarly, community members need to be engaged in SGBV prevention initiatives through community strategic dialogues, awareness creation and training of paralegals that can respond to emerging cases of SGBV.
